Criminal Law

Michael D. Horn Founding Partner, Lead Criminal Defense Attorney

Michael D. Horn is a New York criminal defense lawyer with more than 30 years experience. My personal experience with the law inspired me to become a criminal defense attorney to fight for justice and defend the accused. Just prior to graduating from Vassar College in 1988, I was arrested for a crime I did not commit. I learned during my acquittal process that not everyone who appears before a court is guilty. This belief has endured and became my motivation to seek justice for others. My goal is to ensure that your constitutional rights are respected, every possible defense is investigated and all avenues of mitigation or justification are presented.

“My singular focus is to ensure that each and every client receives a rigorous defense”

Now, after 30 years of experience advocating for over 1,000 individuals in courts all over New York, I have been protecting clients against over-eager government prosecutors, false allegations and police abuse. When charges are brought against you by the police, FBI or a prosecutor, I understand the severity of your situation and the anxiety you are facing. As your counsel, I will take every legal action possible to alleviate your problem.

My combination of knowledge, experience and motivation has resulted in a winning edge for my clients. In drug cases alone, I have earned an impressive 86% success rate – so whether you need a talented trial attorney, an aggressive negotiator or simply need to get arraigned and released, my firm is here to assist you.
